PON2-scripting recurrent revolt events - Bosnia

[color="#00FFFF"]This event has for goal to take revolts in Bosnia (which historically occured) recurrently until "Powers" take sides and revolt succeeds parting with ottoman Empire, as for Bulgaria and Makedonia, [/color][color="#FF0000"]I'll have to write 2 or 3 sets of generic peaces (one Austrian-favourable, one Russian-favourable, one rather more Berlin congress style) to take into account powers involvment [/color][color="#40E0D0"]- some changes will be common but of course the more involved a great power (Austria and/or Russia - none other will send troops there) the most favourable peace will be for him[/color]

[color="#40E0D0"]Basically this one will set revolts in Bulgaria much like Bulgarian event (immediate contagion effect) except Bulgaria won't be automatically at war with Ottoman, create rebellion armies in all Bosnia, increase Serbian army strength, and set a strong Austrian interest for Bosnia, one of rare cases where Austria could actually attack Ottoman (much to BNismarck dismay I guess), with or without Russia - who can still attack Ottoman for her own reasons, if sees fit. events provokes also some change of loyalties (even if Ottoman crushes it, and high Russian intervention possibility)

to script peaces will ensure a more or less San Stefano/congress of Berlin like peace after some fight (basic parameters : Austrian and Russian alliances, warscore with ottoman, or national morale)[/color]

[color="#40E0D0"]Another big revolt place (yes, historically Makedonian revolt happened too - revolts actually, some were crushed - so is another etincel to spark the fire- rationale is once the Bachi Buzuks have a free hand to rape and murder, there is such an outcry that even traditional friends of ottoman show some caution and restraint in their support - only closing from Constantinople makes a reaction -

[color="#FF0000"]actually I guess we should create an event with options for Russian a bit like the principalties one[/color] [color="#40E0D0"]- once Russian troops set foot at Andrinople and Constantinople, Austria and Britain move - then Russia has a choice - proceed or stop, if he stops , he loses VP and morale, and a Berlin Congress like peace occurs - if he proceeds and Austria and Britain don't declare war (who else ?) then in short order ottoman surrenders areas at stake and we have sort a San stefano peace, with VP for Russia and a strong position in Balkans)

[color="#40E0D0"]the event is the equivalent of the Bosnia event, with Makedonia revolt replacing the Bosnia one
all in all the 3 events make a lot (each one has roughly 60-70 % chances to fire each year, so the three combined would happen at an average of once each year or more, which will provide a hot time for Ottoman and enough opportunity for Russia (and possibly Austria) to intervene - we could reduce it to 1%, which makes 20% a year for each event, so the kit of combined 3 events could fire 5 times in 10 years - of course, if Russia is bled white and don't want to declare war in the 10 years, Ottoman will keep Balkans (but after all, without Russian or Austrian help , would have been tough for them)

- so perhaps we can keep a high revolt rate for this decade, so Russia will stike when see fit, and not seize a rare opportunity

- after this decade, either we can prolong the revolt rate

-or consider that :
- with fall of Bismarck, Pangermanism, and openly pro Austrian pro ottoman shift,
- with modernisation of Ottoman army (Young Turks, German advisors) and ottoman administration (more control on local Pachas, or their replacement, better discipline of muslim local troops)
- with Russia giving up any hope of interfering (if they did not , with German alleged support, in 10 years, they aren't now, with Germany throwing her full weigh behindAustria and Ottoman)

THEN Balkan Christians abandon hope of liberation and settle for a passive acceptation of (modernized) Ottoman rule - which just need some thinking about how the "Question d'orient" will now explode - a Russian/German-backed Ottoman crisis (Balkans or Caucasus) ? still some panslavists unrest in Austria ? Balkans should remain a barril of powder ...

basically is a compromise spontaneous peace taking in account Austrian interests

Austria allied with Germany
Germany has decent >0 relations with Britain

bad Ottoman morale of warscore (if testable)

forced peace, and while victorious Russian sourness (historical congress of berlin but generic)

other inputs about general conditions welcome, as ever
