Oddly it keeps happening. Right at the beginning of turn processing. Reload and
run the turn again and no problem.

No error on either of these saves. So you get a crash but if you reload, it works? It happens with all your games?

Since adding RC3, and it is frequent, but not consistent. I'll keep seeing how
things go. It might be my poor struggling computer that's the problem.

Now that there is a public patch, we will see if others get it.

Crash

Fri Dec 12, 2014 5:21 am

Hi Pocus!

I uninstalled the game and deleted everything.
Clean install, patch to 1.05RC3 begin new game as the Union and after some turns the game at the end of turn crashed to desktop. Absolutely end of turn. :D
After reloading no problem.

Win7 64 bit, 3 Gb RAM, ASUS K50IN notebook with Nvidia G102M videocard.

I send the logs, scripts, saved games.

Looking forward the best....

Can't say I reproduce the error, but that's not the same as DrPostman, seems more 'random' to me.

Hi Pocus,

At the beginning of my turn I sometimes get a message to the effect - "Warning, Host is processing directly from a SCN or HST file." Then when the turn begins to process it will CTD with the message "Several errors have been generated and the application is stalling."

I am a newbe so please excuse my lack of more information.

When I reload the turn it will usually work. I have had this problem two times in seven turns.

The same for me. Load game, resolve turn and after the end turn - crash. Reload last save, end turn - OK. Make one turn, save and crash. Reload last save, end turn Ok, make the new turn, save and crash.... Hmmmm.....

My problem hasn't occurred again recently. I updated a driver that I think had something
to do with the graphics chip, so that might have done it. Drivers should be updated as
often as possible anyway, and Driver Booster 2 is free. Just google "Driver Booster 2".

Hi DrPostman,

Thanks very much for the advice.

I did as you suggested but it did not stop it from happening again. I was able to do three turns before the CTD happened.

Well, I spoke too soon. Looks like I had some similar weirdness. I got this message at
the start of game turn processing:
warning: host processing directly from hst file
The game continued to process for a minute or two and then crashed to the intro
screen. Clicking "resume" gave me the critical error screen and crash to desktop.
Here's the save and log (for some reason error logging is turned off. I will fix that
next boot up.

This issue (and the message you got) is now fixed, but I don't know if a RC can be done before holiday.

Wasn't sure there was an issue since I couldn't reproduce it, but I'm
glad to know it's not my pitiful personal confuser's fault. Cheers!

And enjoy your holidays - it can wait. It's more of an annoyance than
a game killer.
