Broken Events? Union Generals

Sun Jan 12, 2014 9:25 pm

I am playing a PBEM in 1864, probably longer than most players ever go. I noticed a couple things:

1. I received no 1864 Generals Pool or Division Generals; is this WAD? I suspect it isn't, because there are a number of generals in the database that I haven't seen

2. McClellan was removed in Feb 1864; this is probably WAD, as he is running for President. However, there was no event announcement; he just vanished. Is that WAD?

The only new leaders I have received from Aug 1863 to about April 1864 are Custer and Wilson; nobody else

Perhaps the event scripts need to be looked at

Not for these reasons. What you describe is legacy from AACW. There is no '64 Pool; Lil' Mac just takes his leave (no message).

Unimplemented data in databases is extremely common; kinda like 'junk' DNA, but the data is there for a reason - sometimes it's just there for future calls.
