Hello,
I have recently installed CW2 from steam purchase.
installtion seemed to go okay, but the game will not run.
i get the following message pop-up at the AGEOD screen on game launch
"could not find any compatible Direct3D devices"
then game just exits.
i have spent several hours searching various forums looking for help, but havent been able to find anything specific, except maybe that some AGEOD games (CW2 & To end all wars etc) have some problems running with AMD Raedon HD cards??

I have attached the dxdiag and game log files.
upon reading the dxdiag, there is a line that says:
D3D9 Overlay: Not Supported
DXVA-HD: Not Supported
DDraw Status: Enabled
D3D Status: Enabled
AGP Status: Enabled
could this be the issue? does CW2 require D3D9 overlay working?
