Validation code?

I have the game installed and I get a prompt to enter a validation code. What is the validation code? I bought the game at the online shop on Sunday, and I got a number when I made my purchase, but if I enter that number (# 78779006) it says it has the wrong length. This is the activation code I was given.
The number I used to install the game was <removed your serial key>.
I guess I'll check back tomorrow when you are answering simple questions.

Yes, we do answer questions, simple or not
You posted your serial key number, I removed it. This is the validation code you should enter. If it is rejected, then you should contact the Matrix helpdesk. If you are unsure how you do that, PM me and I'll give you the email of the support team.

Thanks! I entered the validation code as part of the installation. When the installation finished, I tried to play the game. That's when I got another prompt to enter the "activation code". I entered every number I was given with the game to include the validation code. The game is still locked.
