I recently discovered, by accident, that there is a console within the game.
I don't really know which key you press on an english keyboard but on my swedish keybord it's "Ä"

Does anyone know the exact syntax to use with auto turns within the console?
I've tried a few different things but nothing seems to advance the game more than one turn.

What is 'auto turns'? Where did you see it?

Autoturn is a feature that makes the game run by itself, including your side...it does not "advance" to a given turn (= it does not jump there). It's main use is when debugging, while we want to check events, income, different data changes ,etc...etc... we let the game run alone for a few hours (e.g. lunchtime, or overnight) and check the result when we come back

Great, that sounds like something I could use :-)
So do I set the value to 1 to keep it running? How do I stop it from running on auto pilot?

Never mind, it seems you have to have full debug switched on and then use the number of turns as the argument.
