Changing the end date beyond 1865.

Sorry if this really belongs in the mods section, but is this possible?

Yes, you can download the CW2 database files, copy the scenario you want to go on beyond '65, rename it, change the end date and create a new scenario like that.

Or you can simply continue playing. Each time you load a scenario which has reached 1866 and beyond, the 'who won' pop-up will appear first thing, which states that if you want to, you can continue playing. Simply close the pop-up and continue playing normally.

Thanks for the reply!

Good to know the second part, 114 turns just seems a bit too short for a grand strategy & that's much simpler than editing the scenario itself. Assuming I don't loose before 1866 of course, still very new to this game.

Wonder if it's also true of other recent Ageod games?

Actually what I meant was if you could keep playing a scenario normally beyond the end date, provided you don't lose before reaching it.

Napoleon sounds interesting, thanks
