Let's Learn AGEOD Civil War 2 Video Series

Wed Nov 26, 2014 1:53 am

I've started what I thought was going to be a Let's Play of CW2 but it turned out to be more of a tutorial. There's a bit of stuff at the beginning explaining my philosophy of how I was going to approach the Let's Play that might get a little tedious. If I had realized I was going to end up doing a tutorial series, I would have omitted all that.

I'm certainly no expert, but I'm hoping this might be of some value for new folks trying to get their heads around this game. I'm six episodes in (abt 2.5 hrs) and am just starting turn 2, so there's alot of me yammering on about things and not much action. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I've watched the first two videos. Very nice. I don't mind the detailed explanations. Thanx.

Nice initiative Capon. Really good for new Ageod players.

Much appreciated Capon. I'm still trying to learn the game and this should be a big help.

Thanks for the encouragement. I did make a mistake in how I explained supply lines. I've posted a short correction in episode 13.

Really enjoying the series. Up to 14. Wanted to point out that the drop in rating for a division commander is only on the turn they are formed I believe.

Also, just FYI, two of the units in the Lake Michigan fleet can move out of the Great Lakes.

I can only add to the recommendations on this AAR. It's a great Let's Play video. Even I'm learning new stuff on this, and I've been playing Ageod games for nearly 8 years now.

After many months sitting on the fence, deciding when I should buy this game, I have watched about a dozen off these videos so far, and they made up my mind that the time was now, so I did, I purchased both Civil War 2 + Expansion. Thank you for creating these tutorial videos, they are superb cheers!

Started watching these last night- very nicely done. Would say that these should be a requirement to fully enjoying and understanding CWII.

Thanks for your wonderful effort.
