I really like working for this game and the team is really positive, the historical period is very charming! I love it.
I have little pictures to show, because I work a lot on games units.

I am currently painting the leaders, with a lot of detail, I try to do as if they were of old paintings.
but also the ships are really nice.
I show you the CSA gunboat modelled in sketchup and rendered in 3dsxmax.

I do not know if you've already seen this rendering ...

Benvenuto Massi! and what a great eye for detail. I included the quote just so I could look at that boat again. :winner:

You have me greatly anticipating what all that coffee inspires. :w00t:

The artwork is fine stuff indeed, but one critique I've heard about the screenshots of the new games is about the background and profile templates for the icons/portraits themselves. While the art looks amazing, the windows and borders for the unit art are somewhat sterile and robotic... too much flat panel gray. IMO, the unit art needs to be contained within something more setting appropriate, like wooden borders or parchment backgrounds to give it a more 19th century flavor. I've heard a few people mention this and it happens to be one I agree with. Still looks great as is though.
