Just pick Civil War II up... all I can say is WOW!

Hi All,

This game was on my 'Must Have' list at launch but my older computer didn't have the specs. I have since upgraded. This was not what I expected. I thought a few features from ROP and RUS would be added, but this is upgraded everywhere. The map is amazing, decisions such as clearing an area or running telegraph lines actually have me mind-boggled at moment. I'm not trying to slight AACW1 at all, it had it's own charm and introduced me to a great gaming system, but this is strategy gaming at it's best! IMHO!

So THANKS!

Jack

Glad to please an old ACW1 fan. This is always a challenge to make a version II :)

Great job improving what was already a great title! Really loving the new graphics and options thus far.

One of the best war games ever made. A true masterpiece from AGEOD. Highly addictive, very exciting, and very authentic historically. I am loving this game!!

I think it's most certainly a worthy successor to the king (ACW1)! Excellent all around, though I'm still adjusting to some changes :)

I have played ACW since 2009, I thought it was the best Civil War game ever, until I got Civil War II, three days ago.

Played ACW for several years, love both the game and the continued support from AGEOD. When I got an email from the company letting me know the II was out I couldn't wait to play, and am loving it. Happy, Happy, Happy!

How is the turn calculation time in comparison to ACW1?

Very quick. It takes about the exact same time on my computer, maybe even faster. Not slow at all.

My computer is a fairly fast computer it seems.

I have A I7-2600S CPU running at 2.8Ghz. 8 gig of ram. Video card not great but AMD Radeon 6570 not sure how much dedicated ram on board. But anyway....Not saying this to impress, just for you to get a guideline. It takes about 30 seconds at most for a turn to process, probably more like 15-20 seconds.
