Late April 1885...

I will have all the country turn files created this turn so Bob can take Japan. Jim-NC contacted me to advise that Sweden was indeed available earlier when Boernes was playing it. So Bob if you really want Sweden, then that country can be available. Hopefully you will continue to take Japan since that is an important country and one that definitely needs human leadership.

No I am waiting. However, Bob ran into a problem since the Japanese turn requires a password. I thought letting the AI run a country resets the password. Anyone have an idea as to how passwords can be reset?

Done. I think you have to reset the country to AI.

We have had Japan on AI for a long time. Bob said to go ahead and run the turn, he asked Kensai for the password.

Early May 1885

FYI... Dropbox has been experiencing problems due to a maintenance issue. Not sure when I will be able to upload the files.

Dropbox is now working.

Kensai doesn't remember his password. Guess it's Sweden for me then?

I have finished the script for the transfer of Lybia. Here
Also I have noticed that the return of the Kilikiyan wool ranches had not been completed. Most likely because the name of the event has already been registered in the .hst file. Corrected that now, so it should now work.

Thanks in advance.

I will process the turn tomorrow with the scripts. I deleted the turn file for Sweden so will need to run the turn to create it again.

Bob.

Do you have the password for Sweden, and can you use that country?

I don't know of any password. No Sweden files for the current turn yet, so I don't know if I can use it or not.

Late May 1885... lets see what Sweden brings. There should be a way to reset passwords.

Didn't notice it the previous turn, sorry.

I will admit that I have no idea what I am doing, but I guess as Sweden there is not all that much I could do in the first place :)

Welcome aboard.
No worries. Unlike other games, fatal decisions are very rare in PON. Don't hesitate to ask questions.

I have build the last coal mine of the Italian/Austrian contract. During the last game year I have rebuild at least the backbone of the lost Italian army. I would now observe the proper execution of the script that sells Lybia to Austria and then my duty is finished there. It can be put on AI after that.
Once the coal mines are ready and the Italian economy catches on, it can be a playable country again.

Please give the Ottomans their two diplomats.

I would also remind everybody on the execution of the scripts for Kilikyan woolfarms and the purchase of Lybia.

Object now or never :) because I would like to have them executed soon.

Early August 1885. If everyone can put in an order this turn, I can turn all the other countries back to AI.

There is currently a war between Austria and Montenegro (as of the 8/1/85 turn). Austria has captured the only territory of Montenegro, and I don't see an army. Does anyone know if there is a Montengrian army? Also, does anyone remember how long the war has been going on? We may need to script some sort of peace deal between the 2 if this goes on too long.

This war has been going since before lukasberger was in charge for the last time. There shouldn't be a Montenegrinian army, the comencing of the war was under human control. I am all for scripting a peace. I think it is even an object to Austria and in that case I say let them have it.
