My game keeps crashing

Tue Jun 09, 2015 8:42 pm

I did a clean install and applied 1.04RC5 over it. I am using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. The worst part is, it's inconsistent. Sometimes it works fine for several turns; sometimes, it crashes after two or three. Sometimes it's because I clicked the "Academy of Sciences (F7)" button, or the "Economic structures list (F11)" button, or even some random point on the map. Sometimes it crashes at the end of turn processing right before the new turn starts (it would actually be helpful if it did this more often because it would have an error logged). And I'm sure that, now that I've posted this, my game will work perfectly.

Well, my game worked for a few more turns, but it kept crashing. Weirdly, it would work again for a few turns after I restarted (thanks, autosave!) befor crashing again. I took pictures of the error messages (although I accidentally overwrote the second one):

Again, it keeps working for a few turns, then crashes with the same CheckAdvancedRevolts error.

This is from a few days ago:

Code: Select all

Are you running as admin? Because if a file needs to be written but is locked down, it induces random crashes.
