How to end a war through game files

Hi all.

In my game, a rather odd thing happened and France declared war on Latvia, a country that does not exist in 1852. I do not know if it has any effect, but still would like to remove it.

Another question: Some of the events do not have any description. I see this in a different thread with no solution. So my concern is instead of fixing it, is it possible to read the description through game files? I saw an events folder with many text files, but they appear to be only showing event effects, not event texts.

By the way, main PoN forum does not allow me to attach screenshots to the thread, but subforums do. Why?
