The next couple of turns are spent besieging Nisibis and Babylon. Severus takes Gazaca but has to resupply so returns to Phraaspa. While he is there another mutiny in the legions breaks out. At least this one hasn't coincided with a Parthian counter attack. It means that he has to rest and regain cohesion (Here that means install some discipline in his legions, perhaps time for one of the mutinous ones to be decimated!).

Severus, discipline restored, then advances to Artemita bypassing Dura.
The defenders of Nisibis and Babylon are now running low on supplies.

The defenders of Nisibis surrender the next turn, 35 units are lost. With the recapture of Nisibis I can recruit another legion.

Babylon is also taken.
Anullinus moves onto Singara while Severus moves to lay siege to the Parthian capital Ctesiphon. Candidus goes to start the siege of Seleucia.

Nice AAR. But it is difficult to follow for one not too familiar with the area because there is a lot of information on the maps, and some of the lettering is very small. It helps a bit to zoom the maps by pressing the cntr + key, but it would help even more if the maps were annotated with arrows, location-specific comments and such annotations. This can easily be done with the default Paint program or other specialized programs, even if the arrows are drawn by hand.

The next few turns are spent laying siege to Seleucia, Ctesiphon, and Singara. Ctesiphon is the first to be breached by Severus, the second breach and then the assault quickly follow. With the fall of the Parthian capital Armenia sues for peace, it also brings trouble for the Parthian ruler.

Another Roman column has now begun the siege of Hatra.
Singara is the next town to fall, the garrison surrenders after one assault.
Another couple of turns later and Seleucia falls to an assault, swiftly followed by the surrender of the enemy forces in Hatra. With the fall of these last two it means all the objectives are now under Roman control.

The Roman army emerges victorious from yet another campaign.

how balanced did you find that scenario? It appears you started very vulnerable but the Parthians can't really press their advantage (poor siege skills), then apart from the mutinies you were able to keep up the pressure leaving them with little chance to raise or disrupt your sieges?

It is hard to say how balanced it is. Against the AI if you take it steady and don't rush things, watch your supply and have the right force compositions, then it can be straight forward. The AI on the whole does a decent job as you can see from the AAR, but occasionally it does do some dumb things. Pushing on when it should be retreating to get resupplied and getting it's main forces bottled up in cities were probably the two that made my victory easier.
Against a human opponent it would probably be a different matter.....
