Objectives and National Morale Points with BETA Patches?

I have been playing with the RC1 beta patches for AJE and BOR and I've noticed that National Morale Points (NMPs) are not being won or lost through the taking of objective cities.
I noticed this in both the Sens Gallica and Cantabrian Wars scenarios. Is this working as designed?

Hrm, I played for the first time in a long while today. This just reminded me that there were definitely no messages when taking objective cities like their used to be (I think?). I was playing with RC1 on Marius vs Sulla. I'll see if I can recreate it and post something later.

i had the same thing playing vespasian in 4 emperors with 1.02brc1. ves captured jerusalem and no nm gain. the game crashed a turn or two later. i sent the saved game and logs to the contact email addy.

How odd, I am playing the third Samnite war scenario, I had laid siege to Bovianum (an objective city) a couple of turns ago, this turn the city and 4 units that were inside the city have surrendered to me...
In the message box it says that by capturing the city I have gained 0 VP and 1 NM...

Hi there, I have deleted my old post after some experimenting, I have done a test by starting a game as Marius v Sulla, as Marius I moved to take Rome, after a successful assault my NM seems to have gone up by 5 for no apparent reason stated in the message log, from 90 at the start to 95, Is it possible that the NM are being awarded for the capture of objective cities but are not being shown in the turn message log for some reason?

I have tested myself with Y4E Sceanrio as Vespasian faction and I got a message when Jérusalem did fall.

did you get a nm boost? i got a notice of jerusalem in the turn ledger being taken but no nm boost which i remember getting under 1.02a. i'm new to this so i could certainly be mistaken....

Hi there guys, I have done a test and in my game there is no message when Jerusalem falls... I think you are correct appius there is no message or NM gain when an objective city falls in 1.02b... I have posted 2 saves below, the first is the turn before Jerusalem falls and the second is the turn after...

Since others have already provided their saves then I won't upload mine, but I today I captured one of the Objective Cities in The Cantabrian Wars scenario. I received the NM for the surrendering garrison, but none for taking the city.

Fix for NM vs Objective is done.
We must test it internally before public release.
