Quick Suggestion for Naval Battle Results

The naval battle results show the amount of men involved & their casulties. Why not also show the actual number of ships involved & ship losses, as well as casulties.

It should be easy to do as in other ageod games the number of cannons are shown in the results. Knowing the number of ships on either side & their losses would make naval battles easier to comprehend.

The number of ships in a stack/unit display in the main screen could also be shown in a tooltip along with the number of men.

Good ideas.

Regarding naval battles, I wonder if it would be possible to add a chance of capturing enemy ships?

More suggestions!

I second that, capturing enemy ships is a realistic outcome of such battles. Another fundimental tactic of the time apart from missile fire & boarding was Ramming. The ships were built around a large ram in the bow. If you wanted to sink an enemy ship you rammed it - if you wanted to capture an enemy ship you boarded it.

If only Board-Capture & Ramming tactics could be included in naval battles....

There are leaders who have a "ramming" trait IIRC.
