I bought a few ageod games in steam.

I have the game Alea Jacta Est and later I bought the Cantabrian Wars expansion. I have observed that the cantabrian wars scenario does not have the "script.ini" file, could you tell me why does not that scenario contain that scritpt.ini? It is the only scenario that does not come with your scritp.ini. I'm using steam in all the ageod games. thank you very much

I do not know about Steam as my games are all direct from AGEOD, but in my games, there are no issues with missing files. You may want to check with the Steam forum.

I ask it because I do not know if this scenario does not have the file "script.ini", or the problem is that steam has not downloaded it to me . Can anyone tell me if this scenario has its script.ini in the game bought through ageod? thanks to all

Can any developer explain to me why steam does not install the script.ini files in the game's dlcs? Why ageod installation if you download those files from each scenario? those files are in AJE / SCRIPTS / Script_ (namescritpscenario) .ini. Could someone tell me if AI works the same without those files? thanks

Script,ini files are only used for scenario generation.
It is a dev/modder file.
They do not impact your game.

Como ves mi inglés no es mi fuerte jeje. preguntaba porque cuando instalas por ejemplo hannibal mediante ageod te descarga unos archivos script.ini de cada escenario. Si descargas hannibal mediante steam estos archivos no te los descarga. De ahí venia mi pregunta. Si sirven para mods no acabo de pillarlo.

Me he metido de lleno en este mundillo de los juegos ageod, y quiero destriparlo de puertas para adentro , de ahí mi duda.

En PdL me paso de vez en cuando.
Los script.ini son los archivos base para generar escenarios (.scn).
Solo sirven para eso y no son necesarios para jugar.
Tampoco lo son los .inc de la carpeta Includes.
