Hello. I reinstalled some of my Ageod games onto a lesser prolific laptop while my regular mainstay is in repairs. I know that I used to play these games on this very laptop before. In Steam(or from local files), when I click PLAY the Splash screen appears with the options of PLAY and Manual with the regular advertisements etc. When I click PLAY from there the system does nothing but a few seconds later the splash page comes up again. And so on and so forth.... I am looking for a fix, and can recall a similar problem that existed before that was solved with help from the boards or support.

This splash menu is handled by the Matrix/Slitherine installer, so you should contact their support at support@slitherine.co.uk

If the problem is related with the Matrix start menu you can try to skip It by using the game exe located in the main Game instalation folder.
In AJE its called AJE.exe.
just create a shorcut to this exe on you Desktop or where you prefer. I do It this way to save some clicking and loading time.

I get error 0xc0000142 The application failed to start correctly.
Yes, I am currently working with Slitherine support to fix this.
