I recently purchased AJE and I noticed that it is taking several minutes (at least 2 to 2/12) minutes to load. I see a screen that says loading textures following by a percentage. Is this normal??

Its always been normal for me.

Depending on your rig, the First time on a gaming session the loading of the game can perfectly take the time you describe, yes.
