Can't get game to start

Just bought the game AJE and can't get it to go beyond the initial startup screen before I get "AJE.exe has stopped working".
I tried downloading the game again and patch and restarted computer with no change.
I have windows 7 home edition.

Where have you installed the game? Try targeting another partition than C:
Be sure to be in admin mode.

Tried downloading again to put somewhere besides C: but did not seem to be any other good options (recovery, and cd drive). I did right click and run as administrator but still fails just after the intro screen.
After downloading I did get an error message "create message failed code 740: requires elevation".

The last error message is strange, maybe a corrupted downloading ??

Apart from that:

Sugestions:
- Before installing, turn UAC off; Install in a dedicated folder (ie, c:\games, or c:\ageod, not c:\programs); and be sure your antivirus is configured to not inspect your game folder and files

If your game crashes, can you post your main log ? (located in AJE\Logs)
