Great Mithridatic War

Wed Oct 25, 2017 3:05 pm

In our 3 player pbem game Romans put a bounty on Sertorious head and he also achieved alliance with Pontus. But after the alliance event fired (I spend -15 EP) 4-5 turns later -now it is turn 35- there is no increase in ship pool for Sertorious. Will it be later. I plan to conquer remaining Ibericus ports. :dada:

Edit: Pontic fleet sails for Sertorius event now fired. Qinquereme ship arrived. :hat:

In a 2 person PBEM of this scenario, do you think it would be best for 1 player to control both Sertorius and Pontus, or would that be too difficult for the Roman player to defeat that coordination?

It will be difficult for Roman player. I think it is best Sertorius controlled by AI.

I rarely disagree with Baris, but in this instance I do. In my view, this is an excellent and balance game for one player to control both Sertorius and Pontus. Makes for a great challenge, but with reasonable balance.
