Like to See

What I would like to see is a continous game along historical lines, where when you meet a set of objectives, you then move on to the next one in historical order. So start with BoR, move to Hannibal, and then finally AJE but playing as the roman empire and developing it over time. Would be very cool. Kind of a mix of Rome Total War, but historically based and using the AGEOD engine.

I know thebull0425 that my answer is not what you are seeking, exactly, but I have one player-friend with whom I am working through each scenario in historical order. As some scenarios overlap by time, we occasionally repeat time, but it has been a great project.
I understand your desire to build better than Rome built historically, but what my player-friend and I are doing has been a lot of fun. I think we have about 400 more years to go.

I'll support what Durk wrote. I started playing as Rome with the earliest scenario and moved on from there. It's interesting to see how Rome evolved over the time.
