I've only checked this in one scenario, but the Marius and Sulla scenario has a town in Pamphylia called Selinus.

Selinus is in Sicily, on the other side of the Mediterranean.

There were a number of towns in Pamphylia at this time, and I suspect that the one intended was Side. It wasn't Perge because Perge is a ways inland and rises up from the plain on a tel. Attaleia may not have been important enough during that period.

When you travel along the southern coast of Turkey, there are so many ruined Greek cities that you can't tell where one ends and the next one begins.

Not so.

Checking with the Digital Map of the Roman Empire there are four cities/towns identified as Selinus: one each in Sicily and Africa and two in Asia Minor. So I suspect that in this case the game is correct insofar as it matters to the scenario.

The ruins of this Selinus in Turkey are located in modern Gazipaşa. It is said that Trajan died here, so the other name Trajanopolis. The error in AJE map is that it is Cilicia Trachea, not Pamphylia

The other Selinus in Sicily should be in APW (Ageod Peloponnesian War), if it is ever done
