Scenario recommendations

Im looking for some new scenarios to play. Gladly challenging ones.
I tend to play the same good old ones over and over again.

So name your favourite and would be nice to hear a motivation for it.

I played PBEM:

- Both Punic wars multiple times both defeat in any faction.
- Mithridatic Wars before patch 1.05 as Rome - great difficulty for Rome about supply after Italia revolts-
- Caesar vs Pompey couple of times both defeat in any faction.
- Samnites scenario.

It is hard for me to choose. I also play only pbem, so this might limit my reply.
Samnites and Mercenary War are quick but challenging. Punic war are tight.
Marius v Sulla is very tight.

Not exactly sure what you mean by a motivation, but I have not encountered an AJE scenario which did not play historically, my main motivation. The fantasy Caesar into the East scenario is fun if never happening.

By motivation what drives you to play that scenario and to choose that faction over that faction. I don´t think motivation is the right word. English is not my first language, and i have brain standstill at the moment
