What am I suppose to do as mercenaries in that scenario @.@ or is it only for carthage hehe

Both sides are playable. The mercenaries will win automatically if they take Carthage (quite difficult if not impossible), but they can also win on score, i.e. taking (and keeping) as much as they can and gambling on Roman intervention

I got spanked real fast by Carthage. But I got a good agenda for playing as Carthage against Mercs, so it seems easier to win as Carthage. This is a really interesting scenario at least for me and may also be for those who have read the novel Salammbo. I will never stop trying to win it with the Mercenaries.
