Any future plans to implement some sort of editor in the game so players can create their own scenarios, alternative world history and such.
Or maybe that is to complex concerning the game engine?
Excellent game by the way! Have bought all expansions and everything and i just love it. So i´m very anxious for the new expansion with Hannibal
Keep up the good work, it is much appreciated by us fans

As far as I am aware, not even the files needed for modding are available for AJE (yet). That would be a start st least!
Well, I dont really want to annoy the team, better not delay them making the next expansion!

Depends on how you define modding. Some changes are already possible by editing the (current) files.

I thought you need
these files to edit scenarios? Frankly, I have no idea how to mod anything in the AGE engine, I wanted to take a look at it once the files for AJE are released but since I can't find them yet, I haven't.

Some simple things (like editing force pools, and I think that one could also add leaders and events) can be achieved with a humble text editor currently. I'm toying with the idea of starting to mod the Caesar v. Pompeius scenario.

I will state here my personal view.
With the current AGE-engine used for AJE, it is impossible to have, anytime in the future, a user-friendly scenario editor. It will not happen.
Scenarios are possible to create, with the source xls DB files, of course (no estimated time to release them, sorry), but it is a very arduous and time-consuming task. ElNino and PhilThib are the Olympian masters that create all official scenarios for AJE.
Currently a very talented modder is working on a specific scenario for AJE, and he is working on it for months, now...

Years

But picking up pace nicely at the moment. I hope to release an AAR in a few months - that should focus my mind for the final push!
Thanks,
Chris

Then it is as i belived. It´s the engine that puts an end to it :P We have to put our trust that the scenario makers are gonna make the scenarios the people want in the future

Because this game in my opinion has only scraped the surface of the classical/roman timeframe

There is so much scenarios that could be put in. Maybe there will be a few new concerning the new expansion

I mean Sextus Pompey occupation of Sicily after the battle at Munda could be a short scenario
Just around Caesar´s civil war the is much events, scenarios and such that can be put in the game
