Hi everyone! My first post on this forum. I'm rather new to AGEOD games (having played extensively with Paradox releases since 2007) but have learned the basics. Just popping in to say high and look forward to getting my hands on Alea Jacta Est when I finish my Rise of Prussia campaign.

cheers,

Welcome and enjoy your games
If you like the setup then you will also like Wars in America (easy to learn), Revolution under Siege (Russian civil war, more complex, but fun to play!), Napoleon's campaign (nice battles) and AGEOD masterpiece American Civil War.

Thankyou! I have played the demo for pride of nations and revolution under siege (look very good) and also have been watching the charlesonmission tutorial videos for alea jacta est. AJE to me looks like a really fun game. I bought Rise of Prussia the other day just to learn how to play these war games so time will tell.

Cheers! I do have one question, how do I get an avatar picture like yours?

You can define your avatar in your profile. Mine is taken from AJE/BOR graphics, it's a generic helenistic naval commander. To get it - and also get a great game IMHO, but, being part of the team that made it, my opinion may be biased :) , you should buy it... ;)

I think there might be a certain number of posts you have to make, or length of time you have to have been a member for.
