Hi Jim, I'm not sure about the sentence 'Compared to earlier AGEOD games, Alea Jacta Est‘s graphics are awesome.' as it seems to imply poor graphics in earlier
games when I think the standard of graphics for games that I have played such as AACW and WiA are pretty high for the type of games they are - but I understand that you are saying that these are even better. The comment: '... although one wonders if Spartacus really looked like Kirk Douglas' is a bugbear with me as I always find it jarring when I see an out of place or recognisable face in the game. Some of the higher leaders appear to have a very modern look and are images of people associated with the game - there is even a leader with my face (which I am very thankful to have had made - but it doesn't really look right in the game). Most people probably don't have a problem with this I assume
