Quitting a seige

Wed Sep 19, 2012 5:09 pm

I had a Legion that had built siege equipment because they were in a region in a siege.

But I didn't want them in the siege. So next turn they were scheduled to move. The move was going to take 100+ days because of the siege equipment.

Are we supposed to move the siege equipment from the group manually? Or should it automatically be destroyed when the unit is scheduled to move and it isn't working properly?

Hope that made sense.

Just move it out manually as far as I know.

Cheers,
Chris

Yes, the ballistae disappear automatically when the siege ends successfully, but, IIRC, if you want to quit the siege, and move, you remove them from the stack (or the stack from them... :) ). Similar thing as if you want to leave a force (with the balistae) besieging a city and split part of your force to go elsewhere, as in the tutorial. What you will be doing in your case is leave the ballistae alone (they will disappear then) and move the rest of your force out.

Awesome. Makes sense.

Loving it so far...I hate that I have to be at work today!
