What's with the downloads?

I bought this game of your site yesterday. Before I've even got the game, I'm regretting it. The download speed is atrocious, it keeps timing out, and it doesn't support resuming downloads. Considering my internet plan has a data cap, and I've effectively had to download the file 4-5 times because it has NOT ONCE completed it, I'm not a happy camper.
Why does your server not support resuming downloads? Is it possible for your server to move out of 90's technology?

I do not work for AGEOD and this is just opinion but it might be your service; I downloaded this in America yesterday, day before something like that and it downloaded quickly and accurately. If you are using wireless LAN try plugging in an ethernet cable, i find that helps me when i have trouble downloading.

For me the DL started utterly slow, and becames very quick thereafter. I had no problem, save the fear in the firsts minutes.

Sorry for the frustration. This must be a bad combination of 'not the right time' and the location of your ISP brucesim. I can assure you that we are using a professional for our downloads capacities, namely OVH, a really big company that is quite up to date on its services. Please try again today, perhaps it will be better.

yep, I have the same problem before, slowly only 20~50k/s, tried some times at different moment,and finally finished my download
so try dl later , maybe lucky next time

I did finally get the download. The ability to resume downloads would have averted a lot of frustrations, however.

Got some problems too for downloading the game yesterday but well, i just kept trying and finally it worked.
Good thing it's not some 6 gigas worth big ass download. Now THAT would be frustrating lol. Can't wait to play !!

I notice the upgrade link in the pre-order jumps to the Paradox forum, which is down for maintenance today. "Houston, we may have a problem." My original download on 9/13 was real slow, but completed OK.
