Mexico Mod: Vainglory of Mexico.

This mod tries to give Mexico the opportunity to be a playable nation and give it all the options available for the great powers.

I have also made various modifications to make the game with Mexico more immersive (especially in relation to the names of the various structures and units).

It is not a historical mod.

I hope you enjoy it. Please report any bugs and feel free to make suggestions

CHANGES.

Scenario:
- New Vainglory of Mexico scenario.

Models and units:
- 66 new naval models (based on the austrian navy).
- 48 new naval units (Full Mexican Navy based on the austrian navy).
- 94 new land models (based on the french army).
- 129 new land units (Full Mexican army based on the french army).
- 12 new air models (based on the french air force).
- 5 new air units (Full Mexican air force based on the french air force).
- 187 new graphics for each model and unit.

Structures:
- Extended Structure Pool (based on the Great Britain structure pool).

Events and Regional Decisions:
- Laws and Reforms for Mexico (based on the austrian laws and reforms event).

Regional and Colonial Decisions:
- All Regional and Colonial Decisions for Mexico (based on those of Great Britain).

Rulers:
- The 28 Mexican Rulers now have their historical characteristics.
- 78 new graphics for all Mexican rulers.

Diplomacy:
- New AI Diplomatic Affinity that facilitates the inclusion of Mexico in the World Market.
- Now Mexico has better relations with their historical european commercial partners (France and Great Britain) and with Latin American Countries.

Regions:
- The Tepic region now has Tobacco (just like it was historically).

Immersion:
- Proper initial Forts historical names (Now the Fort in Veracruz is: Fuerte de San Juan de Ulua, the Fort in Puebla is:
Fuertes de Guadalupe y Loreto and the Fort in Mexico City is: Castillo de Chapultepec).
- Proper initial ports historical names (No more generic ones).
- All Mexican Structures have custom names (no more generic ones).

IMPORTANT.
When you install the mod dont forget to delete this two files:
Pride of Nations/VGN/GameData/Units/Units.Cached
Pride of Nations/VGN/GameData/Models/Models.Cached

What version of VGN are you using as a base for the mod ? 1.04.05 ?

For the most part of the mod I took the files from my own Steam game versión (includes, script, unit and models etc.). I really dont know what version is.

I only took the local strings file from the versión published by Pocus in this forum: Official database, XLS format: (1.04.4 version.).

There is a issue with mdl 3856, its TechUpg is set as $mdl_MEX_Inf1915_Res6.
$mdl_MEX_Inf1915_Res6 does not exist.
$mdl_MEX_Inf1915_Res8 should be the right one.

I have an issue with model 11779 that prevents the game to launch, still under investigation

Thank you for your feedback.

I already fix the problem with the mdl 3856.

I checked the model 11779 and I didn't find any problems and it does allow me to run my game. I really dont know what it could be.

This is the last version of the database.

It is dated 27 October 2016, so not sure it is the one you are looking for.

Im using a LocalStrings .xls file dated: 05 December 2013.

Im worried because the last patch is from 18 July 2017 and it says that "fixed several missing strings".

Missing strings can be fixed by updating the localstrings file or by fixing the events that ''call' the localstrings file.
AFAIK, the 50a version provided by Nikel is the latest one.

I need to update the mod with the latest strings file.

¿Someone has the latest full database for modding?

It seems that my versión is an outdated one because It had the "local strings 49" versión.

The databases were uploaded to the Ageod ftp site, but unfortunately it is offline.

Im learning a lot of things about modding PON. The next version of the mod will have a Mexican-Central American Unification mechanic very similiar to those of Germany and Italy.

You will have to use the ChangeResStock ScriptCommand.

I already added two historical military academies.

The "Heroico Colegio Militar" (Army) and the "Heroica Escuela Naval Militar" (Navy).
