One month turn?

Is there any way I can mod the game so that I can get a one month turn?
failing in that I would like to somehow increase turn processing speed.

Turn processing time can't be increased without a very important code rewrite, so not for now.
As for 1-month turns, it is possible to make as a mod but would required extensive DB rework that only a competent and experienced modder could tackle, and that would take quite some time to undertake (not counting the fact that it could seriously alter play balance).
