Crash pressing TAB key

Wed May 11, 2016 1:18 am

Hey guys at SEP Reds, I love your game, Revolution Under Siege is fun. I am just reporting a bug, pressing the TAB key will crash the game. I've included a screenshot. I play on 50 percent CPU and medium textures. etc. I've configured settings to minimize crashing as much as possible so perhaps try pressing TAB key while you guys play your version and see if that happens to you. (This is with Steam version BTW so people who are pressing SHIFT + TAB to access Steam overlay might experience this).
I'm fine however, I can live without pressing the TAB key in game XD, thanks guys.

Thanks for posting. Make certain your drivers are the latest, especially the video card one. SEP REDS guys won't be able to change anything there, because it's an engine related issue. So you did good posting here because we are now aware. Most of the time, the problem can be solved by double checking the drivers...but true, engine is not most recent and sometimes we have those issues.

Yes it happens too (on my wife' laptop), I had never saw this, for I never had to use the Tab key in game (I don't use Steam). I'll test on my pc.

Thanks guys, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one having this issue. (well still bad but still...) I will indeed update my drivers. (There aren't other ones than the graphics right, if not, how do I update the other ones?)

No bug on my pc... the game does not crash, nor other malfunction.

Updated everything, and have directx11. Still crashes pressing the TAB key, though I'm glad it doesn't crash on your PC ERISS. Hmm, I wonder if it is a setting I've enabled in-game perhaps? If need be, I can take print screens of all my in-game option settings and post them here. :)

Also, been playing Alea Jacta Est at the same time, pressing TAB does not crash my game xD. Must be a setting or hardware issue on my end. I just don't know why its happening to me now in Revolution Under Siege. But as I said, I can live without pressing TAB key, no one chats me on Steam so I won't need Steam overlay.
