I'm very sorry. I really wish I could find back this text of a White general bragging for the good joke he made on makhnovists with his cavalry.
Though I suppose there could have been different partisan units that switched sides from Greens to Petliura to Reds to Grigoriev with a tiny number serving the Whites that you may be speaking of, they were never really controlled by the Armed Forces of South of Russia.
I didn't say that. I talk
about the game. Example, worst, ingame the Eastern Whites may control the petliourists (when allied with Western Whites), even they for sure never did control them.
, what is the benefit of the player to use this option? I would suppose almost none would actually try it, as their resources would rather go to increasing their own army than relying on the AI to do some harm.
I don't know, it's an idea. If we can't find benefit, maybe some smarter player could find a use. I try to help adding freedom and flavour in the game.
, the command of the Volunteer Army actually was very much against Jewish pogroms
Yes, it was mainly a political order aiming the Allied parliaments, to they continue to give weapons and all.
I don't think it was seriously applied. At the better it tried, but what white would give proof or be witness of their offensive colleague(s), and what jewish mujik could be allowed to speak and be taken account? (in Denikin reign, it sure couldn't, mujiks, moreover independant ones, were nothing for him)
Example of makhnovists: After pogroms by greens early in their area, to make sure, makhnovists gave weapons and ammo, even they had few!, to jewish villages, and thereafter shot their own troops/commandants just for saying antisemitic insults, then jewishes made few fierce specific units in makhnovist army (for the flavour there should be one black regiment with machineguns ingame named Jewish).
