0-size save

I know that people here are well aware of the 0-size save crash problem, the question is - is there some workaround (like in other games - a way to change a save destination may be?), it is simply irritating.

Does the game save outside the game-folder, like "user/documants/games"?
If so, yes, you ought to be able to change it somehow. At least you can in Espana 1936.

Yes, the folder is in "my documents", but I cannot find the file to change this...

You would need a more recent RUS.EXE for that. Right now, you can't use User Path. But 0 byte problem mostly occurs if you install the game in C:\Program Files. Sometime also UAC/anti virus play their part, true.
