With latest patch - zombie horse art and leader battles

Fri Mar 08, 2013 12:20 am

I have a series of 4 battles with the same single horse artillery and leader unit (16 men that I killed at least two or three times) and they drained almost 500 of my men.

Southern White Zombies ... who would of guessed?

Playing as Soviets in DNO scenario. Do I need to post the save game or is this an already known - in work, problem?
Thanks

There are 5 battles of Solnechnodsk in the report log - 4 of them against a leader and a horse artillery unit (listed as 16 men).
This is the save game files - do I need to post anything else, thanks

This game started with QuickFix1 - and I applied the QuickFix3 patch before executing orders and getting these results.
thanks, love the game and appreciate you guys trying to make it better.

Hi DanSez, sorry to butt in, just a thought, maybe you should try installing the 2nd quick fix then the 3rd quickfix, I think the Immortal bug was fixed in the 2nd QF... The quick fixes are not comprehensive like the official patches...

Highlandcharge:
If that is the case then there will be a lot of problems for people since you can no longer download QF1 or QF2, only QF3 is available now.

I believe I installed QF2 along the way -- I have patch_RUS_v1.06a_QF2.exe unpacked from a zip file (dated 29 Jan)

I guess I need to clarify. My opponent and I started a DNO scenario back in January with QF1.exe and finished that game and started a second one (swapping sides). Along that way we both patched up to QF2 - apparently the current game was started after the QF2 patch by the dates on my files. Before executing the last turn (where the zombies appeared) I patched up to QF3.

Sorry for the confusion. Is it possible that this last patch might have 'undone' something?
Thanks again for the work to keep the game alive.

I will hold off advancing the game a couple of days in case you need any other files (directories) other than the save game.

I think QF3 IS comprehensive so it might fix it. The problem is, it also might not work on games in progress.

That might be the case, I am playing a couple of pbem games started with QF1 and then upgraded to QF2 then QF3, I will play on and see if we come across the bug...
