no unit icons on map

Hi All,

I started new campaign and have no troop display markers (icons with generals faces) on map, only small flag in regions were forces are. Can't find option or map filter which can return it back. Help!

What campaign? Maybe all your units start hidden inside towns?

Grand Campaign. many units on map. but no troop display markers. only small flags instead of leader faces.

You seem right: There are four stacks in Moscow town (the '4' number in small box), but the fifth as shown on the tabs upon the Units panel seems missing in the Moscow region on map.

Maybe you have to reinstall the game and put only the last patch on (sometimes all these added patches mess the game).

There are filters which remove the troop icons from the map--try CTRL-F3, CTRL-F4, etc., to see if you can get your stacks to reappear.

All filters Ctrl + F1 - F4 are tried. I heve on map only bottom of TDM (troop display marker) - flag. All the rest not present on map

I have the exact same issue when running the game under Linux.
Does anybody know what could cause this ?
