Graphics colours going into reverse (ish)

Not the most technical description, but I am noticing 2 things:
1) Entire screen goes white during play. I am assuming this is not my inevitable White victory, clicking like mad, nothing works.
2) Colours change completely, almost like a photo negative, but then with colours. Anybody else noticing this?
