Another "incursion" against the "railroad"

As I said, just a "incursion".

So lets go directly to the point.

I saw some cities in the Grand Campaign have a railroad workshop building in them, but I never found out for what exactly they were built for.
The thing is, that in the Drang Nach Osten campaign, some other big cities have a great icon detailing they have those same railroad workshops, and they explain they are to produce +3(if I remember well) points to the railroad pool.

Is the Grand Campaign version r. workshops fulfilling the same duty as those in Drang Nach Osten??

Would be good to know, so maybe I can find a way to finish my railroad madness. :bonk:

AFAIK they were cosmetic. They don't produce rail capacity. But should be confirmed.

The events texts say the produce +5 rail pool, and the major ones like in Kiev also +1 war supplies.

I suppose this is the same for all the scenarios.

From the beta forum (I think it won't harm to report this here):
" Also, it seems the railroad workshops don't produce any railpool. Bug?
- No, this is WAD for now. desactivated the events which have a very smal chance to give very few bonus in this new flavor building (railroad workshop, fluvial workshop, etc.) because i fair that they could be responsible to slow the game for a very little interest. They don't give anyway any significant ressources. It was just for the game ambiance that they were added. "

So, again, some text may be missing, showing clearly they're just for ambiance.

And, AStefan, I don't think work will be done for you, as you play the game in unintended (but allowed) way: The game is not supposed to go far after 1923.

Maybe for a Rus-Platinum, using more powerfull computers? (when? lol)

Then seems better to me to remove the workshops to avoid confusion.
