I keep hearing about it and when I looked at the last page of the other thread it was a flame war.
Also it seems to have been made in January.
So I'm asking the question seeing as January is right about to come 'round again

I would say for end of june? Few bugs and features pop up, sometimes coming from other AGE games experiences.
I can't be clear, that's what I guess... and don't have the legitimacy to do so..

Silly question I know: what's the advantage of buying the game (or any game) through Steam rather than through one of the distributors?
It seems to me that buying through Steam creates a dependency on Steam which I wouldn't have otherwise?
Am I confused here? TIA!

... i don't climb rooftops, only mountains around and i scream it only after i succeed to get back home safely

The game should be also available out of Steam world. I don't like such monopolistic dependencies too.

I bought this game from Impulse so I'm hoping that the upgrade package when released will work with my version.

from the beta Gold version, not from the base RUS game.

Three weeks later the June 30th, he says that
"A discount is planned. " for those who already own RUS, he no more mentiones the upgrade package.

I got the game from steam and I saw some problem.. in the settings there are no tabs with different settings, as I understood - I can see only media settings
