In the force listings in strategic atlas (f1) there is a columb entitled "autonomy" . It seems by the very nature of the word to imply the ability for units to issue their own orders. But i'm only guessing - I cant find anything about autonomy in the manual & was wondering what effect it has on the units in the game. Anyone know?

Not sure autonomy has the meaning you understand...there is no such concept in the game. It may be franglish wronged translation (autonomie in French = range in English)

I was guessing, the meaning must be lost in translation. Anyway the columb has a tiny dial symbol and units are rated from 0-99. What does this columb signify? Its not a game breaker for me I'm just curious!

Concratulations on a brilliant simulation - im playing the southern whites in the grand campagin and being constantly challenged by the A.i & changing situation!

It appears to be "Number of turns that Current Supply amount of the group will last without resupply"

Divide the Total Supply carried by the Supply Used per turn [seen in the tooltip when hovering over a group Supply Icon in the Unit Display]
