Abilities of officers not in command-Do they have an effect?

Sat Feb 11, 2012 6:03 pm

If we have an officer with a special ability which is in an army stack yet does not command anything, will his ability affect the troops in the stack?

So for example I have an army commanded by Denikin. General Mai-Maevskiy is also part of that army. Do his abilities affect the infantry in the army?
For united Russia!

The tooltip when you "hover" over the ability icon will tell you:
"Must be in command" is exactly what it says.
"Affects entire group" will help all units in group even if not in command.
"Self" or "Unit" mean affects just a "combined unit" [division/brigade]
Always ask yourself: "Am I part of the Solution?" If you aren't, then you are part of the Problem!
