Hammer and Plough

Mon Nov 29, 2010 12:14 am

I was reading an older thread about the Hammer and Sickle symbol. At this time, wasn't the symbole of the Revolution actually a Hammer and Plough? And was the new nation not the CCCP but the RSFSR?

Not trying to stir things up. Remember that I live in and work in a job where political correctness means life and death!

I think this is more about historical correcteness though. We can't ban all Tintin albums ;) .

I'm late to the game and see this was already discussed. No big deal. I get extra posts just the same.

Besides we have a saying at work "If people aint' complaining, then they ain't  happy!"
