Today is the 92nd anniversary of the Bolshevik seizure of power in Petrograd.

The October Revolution which took place in November - only in Russia! :neener:

Ahh yes, the October Revolution celebrated in November...something about different calenders IIRC. Looking foward to this title now, although I have just brought WW1G - too many games, so little time.

Yes we used a different calendar. We were already in process of changing to western calendar but most of Russian Empire had not changed yet. We had on official documents after date saying "old calender" or "new calender" depending on the date used. Even into 20th.

It is national holiday in Russia, though officially it is named different many many people remember it for what it is.
