We have the same features as in AACW (and more). Engineers will allow faster repairs also

And regarding the armored trains.

Do they appear as individual units (a single train is a unit) or as several elements inside a unit?

Can they be captured and repaired?

A single train is a unit. They can be repaired (i.e. receive replacements) like all other units. The have some capture percentage, but for the moment we need to tweak it during testing

and they all have their historical name, which is fun (often not very subtle, like 'Death to traitors') :)

You should perhaps do a Contest/Concours and the winner would win a trip in Siberia !! :D

Playing ACW I ever wondered why Engineers can speed up entrenchments and rail rebuild, but not the building of forts.

Now, in RUS there will be space for fortifications?

There will be, but it would not be possible to construct "real fortification" (i.e. concret bunker, etc...) just by spending some art + supply cart in 15 days. :D

Yeah, but in those days, digging trenches, building up wooden fences with tree trunk, and reinforcing them by sand bags, plus placing a few canons and (luxury) a few gatling guns here and there, was already an efficient way of fortifying.

Against the ww1 era artillery, you may as well build sandcastle... ;)
