Game mechanics question

Tue Nov 13, 2012 5:15 pm

If in one region there are several divisions.
If all put into single column they have -35% malus. But if all divisions are in separate columns then every has -10%.

Question: What the difference (one column vs several columns) in battle mechanics if that region was attacked by enemy?

PS. It's about columns and divisions - no corps/ created.

The difference is indeed that you take much bigger risks in combat to have columns engaged one by one, or the one you don't want alone before the others get committed, etc. If you are sure there can't be combats, then break columns indeed.
