Weapon factory captured or destroyed

in the First turn of SB whites campaign, Irkutsk sieged by Czech forces. When I assault in the first turn there is no massage about captured or destruction of new factory in Irkutsk after turn processing. If siege continues and breach is made(without assault) there is a message in the log. So with ongoing siege factory is captured and destroyed?

I think there is always a *chance* it will get destroyed. Just like with depots upon capturing one.

Yes there is a chance for factory to be captured and destroyed. Even besieged city is intact.
But when assaulted directly before sieging there is no message about factory captured or destroyed.(Tried many times) So that means factory is mine now?

Dear Baris, I would simply look via tooltip at the top of the screen where you see how much wsu you have. Hover with the mouse cursor over there and if you have an increase of 5 wsu points equivalent to the turn before the capture of the town then you got the factory intact...
Only my 6 pence sofar...
