I actually just installed on a fresh install so I have both versions of the game handy. I think 1.16 will be finalized soon though so that's probably not necessary anymore.

What are the rules for the tournament?

I'd be interested depending on the expected frequency of turns.

All right, I'm in. Match me up.

I have played two PBEM's, both times as the USA. I'm quite familiar with the AGEOD engine having played several games using it.

Can't actually find the ground rules for this tournament (anymore)... but I'm interested.

I got an email from the organizer saying that he was dropping the event for lack of response. A pity. I would like to see an ongoing tournament presence as a sign that there is still a market for this game. To encourage the continuing development and perhaps (dare I say it) AACW2!

It is unfortunate that the tournament didn't work out. I would also love to see an AACW tourney happen again. I know this game is still being played by quite a few. I wonder why more players haven't shown interest in this?

Reason tourney failed

Sun Mar 06, 2011 4:35 pm

There is only one real reason our tourney failed. My lack of experience in dealing with forum members, instead of imbracing the chance to play and compete certain members were trying to prove me wrong. I just wanted to have fun and learn.
