RoP Gold questions

I recently redowloaded and reinstalled a fresh copy of RoP Gold + v 1.11 + the 4 unofficial patches/mods posted by Bohemond.
I started a new SP grand campaign as Prussia, but have noticed some odd things:
-I can no longer build Grenadier battalions?
-The inflow of conscripts is lower so it takes longer to build new units? using the historical allowance option.
-In march 1757, new Hannoverian and Hessian generals are appearing in Berlin?
I just want to check if this is normal or if my instal is somehow corrupted.
