yes, I like it that way. I would like a demo or game better.
For one grandsire stood with Henry,
On Hanover's Sacred sod,
And the other followed "Harry"
In the Light Horse' foremost squad.
And my grandsires stood together
When the foe at Yorktown fell;
"Stock" like this, against oppression
Could do naught else but REBEL.

Great screens
One question tho, will the coalition (France/Austria/Russia..) player get another interface or will you have to watch Frederick face too?

You mean the portrait on the upper left corner?
No, he is part of the interface of the game...

Continuing from there:

I'm afraid every Czech native who will buy this game realize that he cant recognize his own country and the problem is only in the rivers (in my opinion, but i didnt see the whole map). If map is still editable, there is a good way to fix it without relocating the provinces:

Puting the rivers in this form (more or less) will allow to let almost all main cities where they are now.
(I also observed that you probably took a row of provinces from Saxony to compensate the orientation problem. But there is pretty accurate shape of czech historical borders in this map. It will be shame to not use it.)

Pangi's map does look much better. The area in the Elbe bend does look too small in the original map

the bohemian theatre was a critical area in the early part of the SYW and in the WAS - it really should be as accurate as possible. It is very odd that it isn't

it is almost as bad as the HOI3 map . . . I was hoping it would be as good as the AACW map . . .

Agree that the map inaccuracy is serious. I noticed that Prague wasn't on the Moldau and thought it was strange, but questioned my own recollection. If the map is this inaccurate, my confidence in the OOB and other historical matters is weakened as well.

I was planning on buying this out of the chute, but now I may have to wait and see.

The map suggested correction is an example of why an early demo would be a good idea prior to release. AGEOD has a huge fan base, and I am sure that such a demo would be great way to receive useful input to work out any problems in the game prior to release.

Because people complain that it takes too long to load... the images are huge for their screens, etc, etc... ;)
It looks like we just can't please all... :non:
